Moving the shed- the impossible becomes possible (with a surprise)

Ever since we bought this house, the hubs has wanted to move our shed. We talked about it and weren't sure how we would do it. Could it even be done? Would we need a big machine?
One day, he decided to just try it himself and see what happened. I have quiet an ingenious husband, you see. He came up with a plan and we headed to Home Depot.

So this is where our shed used to be...

And with the help of some large PVC pipes, one wife, and two kiddos....

Ta-da!

Look at all this extra space!

Here's where the shed is now

And here's a full view of our backyard. The kids are already loving all the extra room.

So are you wondering about the surprise?

Well...when we moved the shed we found some "treasures" underneath.

Yes, that is a rat skeleton in between the board and the stone. We also found a ton of other bones. It was like a graveyard.
Ewww

Way to go, babe. You're so manly!

Spring Has Sprung

Welcome Spring! We have been anxiously awaiting your arrival. We know you don't stay long in Texas so we are enjoying you while we can.

Our flowers are blooming. Our theme for this flower bed is red and white. (Go Utes!) And the blossoms on our tree are so pretty. We have a bird feeder out and the finches are there almost all day long.

The hubs ripped out the ugly bushes in front of our house and built up the retaining wall. It looks SO much better. We still have some trimming to do and eventually, we want to put a small deck under the window.

We are getting things done slowly but surely. Come on tax return!
